They are saying, “Is there another side of the story? And saysnational if there saysnational is, we really want to hear it.” I’m starting to see stories in which the other side of the story actually does get reported. The press releases of the obesity racket saysnational are not just simply thrown on the front page without any kind of dissenting point-of-view. I do think we are beginning to make some progress in terms of actually getting the media to provide more balance in their coverage. I think the other thing that is in favor of those of us who are attempting to promote body diversity and size acceptance and a more rational attitude towards these issues is precisely that the culture has gotten so out of control on these things. Because you have a dozen pop-up ads on your PC erupt every single time you use a word that has to do with weight loss or diet or fat or what have you, this is basically undermining the obesity myth precisely because these people have had such a free ride for such a long time with so much irrational hysteria that their claims have become quite incredible and deeply unbelievable.
