Fat people deserve a NHS too I have a letter in The Times about the decision by three primary care trusts in East Suffolk to fat pride no longer to fund hip or knee fat pride replacement operations for patients who are obese. Sir, Theodore Dalrymple (Comment, Nov 24) is incorrect in his assertion fat pride that “the fat have many more complications after surgery and worse outcomes than the lean and svelte”. A study in The Lancet in 2003 of patients undergoing general surgery demonstrated that the incidence and severity of complications did not differ between obese and non-obese patients. |

| From what I have read, aside from the religious practice, a circumcised penis is easier to keep clean, & there have been men who have had to have one later in life because of certain problems. The claim I have read most friendships often is that women whose partners are circumcised have a lower risk of cervical cancer. My sons are not circumcised, but the man I friendships love is. friendships As you say, Michelle, I love the man, not his penis type or waist size, even if, in our case, it IS smaller than mine.
