I was uncomfortable about the circumcision comment as well; removing the foreskin is not the norm, and it has absoloutely no benefit to the male, only stereotypes about "hygeine" which are based in Victorian-era shame about masturbation. the foreskins DO get sold, believe it or not, to experiments and for burn restoration so, like the diet industry there is a profit angle which obfuscates science and evidence.
