I mean, if going to the doctor makes you feel bad, why go? Sure, your shoulder/hip/heart hurts, but united kingdom who wants united kingdom to get a lecture about their weight? And if the kids DO find out that their doctor was giving them bad advice, why go at all? If I read a newspaper that is constantly wrong, I stop reading it. If I have friends how always lie to me, we stop being friends. Doctors only work when united kingdom their patients can trust them. That is why they spend so long at medical school learning a zillion 'facts' about the human body. If they start practising unsound medicine, they're dismissed, rightly so, as quacks! I interpereted the article as blaming kids for the binges-- which were most likely physiologically triggered by the body's mechanism to react to starvation. Since this process is a documented fact, I am especially upset at the implication being on the kids who dieted in the niave hopes of pleasing someone outside of themselves.
