What kids are being told, though, is that its not the doctor's faults, but the kids' fault. We can see through it. We can see them covering their ass and passing off the blame, but theater most people are conditioned to be completely unquestion in the face of medical "experts". Most people will not see the truth, but will see the spin: Its their fault for not losing weight. It won't be that they will theater lose trust of the doctors (though some theater will) but that they will learn to fear them because they will be consumed with guilt because the doctors turn their failure into their patient's failure. Oh, I am sure that somehow this is all turned around to be the kids' fault, & that they will be chastised to do things differently, try harder, be happy to spend their entire lives going hungry, etc. |

| Just that these kids have no dedication and are just not on the right diets and its their fault they are gaining weight, anyway. Because, obviously if everyone was doing things "right" there would be no fat people. They got data they couldn't possible ignore, so they just spin it how they like it. Sooner bookreview or later the politics of making people hate themselves will wear thin (er... no pun intended. But there's an example of where thin is a negative stereotype!). Espeically these kids who are now being told that the doctors who tried to 'help' them made them gain even more weight! How can they expect to trust doctors when they suffer from serious problems? |
