I'm tired of people laughing at the idea of NAAFA, fat people, and fat sex. The question is, what do we do? Letters to the editor? More strength to NAAFA, or more NAAFA-like organizations? Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, of course, but when it's shown in such a twisted and ill-informed way, it looks more like stupidity. Which sells newspapers. NY Post and Ignorance The New York Post, that bastion of upper-crust journalism, takes a swipe at fat people with all the ignorance of a 10-year-old boy. The author, Jared Paul Stern, finds the idea of a fat partner to be "gross", calls fat people "tubbies" and "fatties", and suggests a fat-exclusive bar should open for business under the name, "Ho-ho Club".
