I found the discussions at the NBC site to be interesting, though. A few of my favorite quotes: I photography don't care how brilliant you are. If you weight 300 pounds no physically fit person will date you (unless they have issues of their own). Fun stuff, that. Any thoughts on this? The Fat Man as Object of Disgust Apparently, it's open season on making fun of men with big bellies, because Amstel Light has gotten into the act with a new TV ad. The ad promotes Amstel Light as a low-carb beer, catering to the Atkins fad. That's fine, I suppose; it's an ad. The visuals start by showing us the midsections of people at a party. We see trim, toned stomachs on the women (and short shirts to show them off,) and topless, sculpted abdomens on the one or two men.
