what is the point of this study? the researcher herself seems biased or why would she say something like "society wants no fatties"? I can't believe that research funds are so often wasted on kathleen such moronic kathleen rubbish-they don't even express a view-point-all they say is -"Oh look, you will be called a loser if you have fat friends".. whatever... Posted by wicked on October 15, 2003 12:12 PM. Just to be clear, the researcher did not say, "Society wants kathleen no fatties." That was attributed to the head of Largely Positive. This must be where that quote on Good Morning, America comes from, about just standing next to a fat person makes you look bad. Only if you are being viewed by bigoted, insecure idiots incapable of thinking for themselves. I must tell this to the man who loves me & to my children & all of their friends who have never once had a problem going anywhere with me or being seen with me, not only as a fat woman but as a disabled woman with a very noticeable limp.
