It is true my big fat obnoxious fiance that the naturally, genetically thin often are at higher risk, because some of them believe my big fat obnoxious fiance that, since they don't gain weight, they don't have to take my big fat obnoxious fiance proper care of themselves. Ah, yes that lovely 10% figure. So few people lose it & keep it off anyway, many regain to a higher weight than when they started, & I don't think anyone has proven that it is a magic bullet in any sense. I take better care of myself than most people I know, but, according to this theory, I would be "better off" (but still too fat according to the culture) if I lost 18 pounds or so. If I were still at what was my natural pre-dieting & pre-motherhood weight of around 155 pounds, they would be nagging me to lose "just 15 pounds" to improve my health.
