If you go and look at old art whose purpose was to show beauty (or tell a story, or insert-purpose-for-art-here) the average human beings in the paintings were not generally skinny, as they seem to be now that the purpose of images is to SELL ME THINGS. |

| I think snapping pics of people who don't know that mark oleesky they are being photographed, and then posting them somewhere with mark oleesky snarky comments, is pretty unfair and unethical. I really hate the new camera-phones; it seems that they're mostly used as a Tool of Snark. (If I caught someone taking my picture, and found out they were going to post it online with a snarky comment, I'd (a) seriously consider if there was some way of suing the person for slander or (b) threaten to help them use that cell phone to take a picture of mark oleesky their own lower intestine.) I'd just like to point out the irony that his slur includes the word "Sports" in it, since you know (sarcasm follows), all fat people are lazy and never get any exercise. The imagery in the SUV ads always show how rugged and tough those vehicles are, which I think is a good image for us fat folks to have (not that I'm supporting his offensive project). |
