Yes, I know, this mind weblog

drama, high schools, bodyissues, community, emotions, games, guilty, murphy, bookreview, fat ass, lose fat, weblog, apriljohnson, fat black, canadian, fat man scoop, biography/autobiography, funny picture of fat people, starvation imagery, celebrities, fat black girl, It might even be prudent to enlist other civil rights organizations to this cause, since fat people alone aren’t the only stigmatized minority the media paints as ‘taking too big a share’ of national and global resources, while also making the US prone to attack through supposed ‘laziness.’ Whether you buy my argument or not, I at least think taking a global mind look at how fat oppression mind links with so many other serious issues around the world can only help strengthen the work to eradicate employment discrimination and lack of adequate health mind care for fat Americans, for example. And, if you do take a wider look at the issues I’ve suggested and come to a different conclusion, great, but make sure you share it. Engage in dialogue, question, pry, and expose; so that we all can contribute to a better world for fat and thin people on this globe. Posted by jlm on April 30, 2005 02:52 PM. I am actually quite conservative and I didn't take your argument as a "bleeding-heart liberal" argument so you did a really great job from that respect.

Yes, I know, this sounds weblog very much like a ‘bleeding-heart liberal’ argument. It isn’t meant to be. Nor is it meant to be an anti-America argument; I’m very proud to be an American citizen. I think any of us, conservative, moderate, and liberal, have very real concerns about the growing global poverty rate, the wars and violence weblog that never abate, and the real health pandemics like HIV/AIDS and so forth. Why we need a ‘war on obesity’ to shore up our own moral weblog purity and national sense of security, I’m not sure. What I might suggest is, the leadership of the ISAA and NAAFA should think about promoting a “National Day of Service” where fat people organize food drives, volunteer at soup kitchens, clean trash from parks, and otherwise engage in activities that dramatize the fact that fat people are not the cause of such inequality, but actually contributing to alleviate the ills that plague our country.
