The only way that we are going to get this anti-fat virus under control is to take on the media (print, web, TV, radio, ads, film) with intelligent (spell-checked) letters, essays, sexy fat op-ed pieces, combined with in-the-world activisim. We must fight fire with fire every single day or sexy fat we will soon be outlawed in America and Europe. I'm dead serious. This one, incredible blog can't do it. We can't sit here talking to each other, rubbing our collective chubby hands together. We have to be out there where the enemy is telling us that we are worthy of all of the pleasures and joys (including the pleasures of the table) that life has to offer us. |
