Posted at 05:44 PM WOMEN WHO MAKE THE WORLD BETTER [Warren Bell] I had the pleasure of joining Anne Bayefsky for coffee last week. Anne's a tireless watchdog on the excesses i ll be better when i m older and abuses of the United Nations, and her reporting requires many hours spent personally in the meeting rooms watching and noting the events. i ll be better when i m older (Strange how they don't want those meetings televised...) She talked a bit, too, about Secretary Rice's unfortunate bit of fence-sitting last week regarding the vote on the U.N.'s new Human Rights Council i ll be better when i m older (which she wrote about for NRO here). As bad as it all is at least we have folks like Bayefsky watching.Posted
