Thus, the scientists hypothesize that it might also be good for humans - suggesting that "three meals of day" is something society came up with, and the like. | As the slideshow accompanying the Yahoo! article notes: The Jumbo Queen contest is virginia held to select the contestant who best who best exhibits the characteristics of an elephant, by virtue of her grace,elegance and size, to lead the jumbo banquet and help promote elephant conservation causes in Thailand. Aimee sent in an article in the Rocky Mountain News in which Paul blasts through the cancer-obesity link. Thanks to Pattie for tipping me off on this, originally. In short, what this study actually found was a negative correlation between increasing weight and cancer mortality for the majority of the 135 million Americans who are currently categorized as overweight or obese, and only a small increase in risk for all but the very fattest people. |
