Description of Awards Permanent Members: Living Alabama residents shall be elected to membership in women seeking women the Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame as a result of significant contributions to the lives of older Americans. Permanent membership shall be based on an extended period of dedicated service to the states older citizens, and is the highest honor awarded by the Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame Commission. Up to ten persons 50 years of age or over may be elected annually.
